			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A story is about the strength and perseverance of the human spirit. I need two true stories of survivors against the odds of elements. Short story is more suitable- about an newspapers article long. I need it asap. THANKS!<br />

<br />One such story involves a 1972 plane crash in the Andes mountains. The plane was carrying a Rugby team. Of the 45 passengers, 16 were found alive 10 weeks after the crash. After a dramatic crash into snowy mountains the 32 survivors of the initial crash, with little food or warm clothing (it was Spring where they had departed from),  took shelter in the plane&#8217;s fuselage. Of those 32 initial survivors, however, several of course were injured and would not make it. Ultimately, those who were still alive came to the conclusion that, if they were to have any hope of staying alive, they had to eat, and they resorted to cannibalism, eating the meat of those who had died before them. While that aspect of the story probably held the most&#8230;fascination&#8230;for others when the story unfolded that&#8217;s just one aspect of their survival. An avalanche, for example, killed many of the survivors while they all slept in the fuselage one night. They couldn&#8217;t go looking for help because there was no way they could survive the exposure, but eventually they figured out how to fashion insulated sleeping bags using insulation from the tail of the plane. About two months into their ordeal, two of the survivors went on a trek looking for help; eventually they came across some people and were able to communicate with them to let the rest of the world know they had survived.  They were rescued shortly thereafter.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure there are articles you can find online if you&#8217;re interested; while it may be too long to be of any help to you today, you should check out the book by Piers Paul Read sometime (the book is called &quot;Alive&quot;), it&#8217;s an amazing story.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have GAD and currently in the process of changing my meds. and have been having panic attacks everyday. im just wondering if these symptoms are normal for panic or if there something else. I get heaviness that radiates from my face, to my shoulders to my legs. it feels like these body parts get so heavy, and ive never expierenced that before. i dont want to call the doctor just yet, because im such a hypochondriac. so pleas anyone who has had these symptoms, or if you think its something worth going and getting checked out. thanks<br />

<p>Get a second opinion, I did because I wasn&#8217;t happy. It turned out to be the best thing that I&#8217;d done because the first lot of medication were giving me side affects. I&#8217;m much better now I&#8217;ve changed.</p>

I don&#8217;t want to have to rely on medication for the rest of my life, and I&#8217;m getting the sexual side effects, which is really sucking. I was wondering if anyone has overcome this without medication, just therapy, and how hard it was. Or if anyone has done it with medication, or both. Advice from people with experience is preferred, or professionals.<br />

I have cut out all pop, exercise for an hour and a half a day, eat really good. So, now I know its my medicine. I really need some kind of medicine. Any advice?<br />
<br />I have been on Lexapro a long time, and gained a lot of weight.  I heard that Wellbutrin often causes weight loss so I discussed this with my psychiatrist.  She told me that  Wellbutrin is good for depression, but that it will make anxiety worse.  So be careful what you agree to take.  My psych. did mention something about Pristiq, but I have yet to switch from Lexapro.</p>

<p>One of the first things that you need to understand about your panic disorder is that your panic attacks are triggered by a combination of a few things. Of course you probably already know or have read, that stress already plays a key role in triggering your panic attacks.</p>
<p>But what you may not know is that certain foods, drinks, medicines, and drugs that you consume. or do not consume, can also trigger panic attacks.</p>
<p>So to avoid your panic attacks need to make sure that you do not consume certain foods, drinks, medicines or drugs.</p>
<p>Since panic attacks are actually a release of the adrenal fluid in your body you need to avoid anything that is a stimulant that can trigger the adrenal glands in your body.</p>
<p>So you must avoid caffeine, energy drinks, tea, sodaâs with caffeine, certain medicines like nasal medicines, and drugs such as methamphetamines, and alcohol.</p>
<p>Yes even alcohol. If you have panic attacks you may notice that after a night of drinking when you wake up in the morning you feel kind of âtweakyâ or nervous.</p>
<p>After a hangover you do not want to drink coffee, or sodas to have caffeine in it. Or anything that has a stimulant for that matter.</p>
<p>You also want to eat healthy. By eating balanced meals and eating high potency vitamins every day you can avoid panic attacks very easily. </p>
<p>Do not overlook how powerful high potency vitamins can be for you. Just after a few days you already notice a decrease in your stress levels. So thatâs why I recommend to find a multivitamin that are high in B. complex, niacin, etc.</p>
<p>If you do not learn how to avoid your panic attacks it can actually cause long-term psychological problems that can affect not only your relationships with people but your job performance as well.</p>
